how to use the site
This site is designed to allow the viewer to delve into and out of stories as they see fit, returning on separate occasions to re-visit stories in more depth.
Use the main numbered slider on the front page to navigate between stories. Clicking on “continue reading” will bring the viewer into that story, where they can listen to audio or watch a photo-film or both. Depending on your internet connection, some of the material may take a little while to load.
You can navigate between stories by using the arrows at the bottom of each story page or by choosing the “Memories” pull-down menu.
The first numbered slider on the front page is a brief introduction to the project, the second and third sliders refer to the “Indirect” and “Collected” memory stories, all other sliders refer to veterans’ stories.
